Expectations, the hype was too high.
I was expecting a whole new line and maybe a shaped movement. If they said it would be a Nautilus 2.0 or maybe nautilus2 (squared). Then the watch is totally fine. The only criticism would be maybe a little too big for some (including my wrist).

If this was released at palexpo with the other 2024 models I think they'd have been well received.
I was also expecting a shaped movement, quick change straps/bracelet, and one of their silicon projects to show up.

I am surprised at all of this. T. Stern has a tantrum and decides he doesn't want to be a "one-watch" brand, so he ends his bread and butter Nautilus and Aquanaut models. This did not do anything, except to discourage Patek customers and future customers....
