PP has an entry young level watch in my opinion...
The Aquanaut.... It can be your first pp watch and it can be worn for many
years after, been when you buy other pp watches....
Nautilus is another, more expensive though, option....
As far as Calatravas are concerned, I think that a 5196 may easily be worn
with jeans and a t-shirt (at least this is my opinion)....
But, the main question for Aquanaut and Nautilus is availability....
They, especially the Nautilus, are not easy to find and that is a policy by PP...
And also, maybe, the charm of PP....
Does PP want a watch for the younger blood, or rather they want a customer
That has gone through other brands first? A customer that has developed?
(or somebody that has learned via a close person to them)

PP is targeting the market of well-off people with high disposable income. Most of the people meeting this criteria are above 40 of age. No doubt that there are more filthy rich young men now, thank you to internet. However, the market is still too small....
My advice is to start with a 240 caliber.
A micro-rotor caliber is always special and when it is reliable and beautiful like the 240, I think it is the best way to enter Patek's world. Fr.Xavier

but it has been discontinued. It was a 5085. It was very casual, complicated and for most of its life it was less than 20k. Its a steel in the secondary market in my opinion. I was dumb enough to sell mine for less than 12k
