Hi,
"I hope that this thread does not develop like mine did a couple of days ago....."
Well, it did not, I wonder why?
"I did a search and nothing too similar came up...."
That may be why!
"PP has an entry young level watch in my opinion...
The Aquanaut.... It can be your first pp watch and it can be worn for many
years after, been when you buy other pp watches...."
Sure, but it is a sportswatch, not a casual watch. The composite strap may make it look younger sometimes, but it is still a black dial in a steel case. I love it too, but is it that really intended for young people? I doubt!
"Nautilus is another, more expensive though, option...."
The Nautilus is certainly a watch you need to understand before loving it. I definitely don't see it as a young men's watch. It's perfect for me!
"As far as Calatravas are concerned, I think that a 5196 may easily be worn
with jeans and a t-shirt (at least this is my opinion)...."
Sure, but you can look quite old with jeans and tee shirts. That's not the key to youth.
"But, the main question for Aquanaut and Nautilus is availability....
They, especially the Nautilus, are not easy to find and that is a policy by PP...
And also, maybe, the charm of PP...."
Sure, but that's not our question! Sorry that was easy!
"Does PP want a watch for the younger blood, or rather they want a customer
That has gone through other brands first? A customer that has developed?
(or somebody that has learned via a close person to them)"
Good question, and I don't have the answer!
Thank you for your thoughts.
Cheers
Dje
