Patek Philippe

young people can like the Calatrava

I'm 31, and I bought my first nice watch two months ago. I was looking for a dressy watch that would impress under any circumstances, yet be discrete enough for day to day wear. I ultimately picked a VC, but the PP Calatrava lineup was the other main choice at the end. I find the hobnail pattern bezel common to many Calatravas to be too formal since I'm usually not dressed particularly formally. But there are some Calatravas without the hobnail pattern that catch my eye, and I wouldn't rule out getting one in the future. And I could see myself getting one with the hobnail pattern for when I'm wearing a dress shirt. My financial advisor (not much older than me) got a manual wind Calatrava recently since his admin kept bugging him to get himself a nice watch for image reasons. He wears dress shirts regularly, and I think his watch suits him well. In fact, I like it enough that I told him that if he ever wants to sell it, I'll buy it from him.
