For me...
....the main issue with wrist size is actually the bracelet and clasp. With small wrists, like mine, it is sometimes difficult to get a proper fit, esp when the links or deployant are larger. Just a case of trial and error (and self discipline to tear your attention away from dial and movement). As for the last photo (and since people seem mischievous today) I think that 5711 looks great on you, but maybe your cuffs are a little large!

Do not pay attention to anyone at all. If it's your dream watch, it is you and only you that matters. Go for it. If it makes you happy, go for it. There are guys on this forum who are obsessed by watch size. The only thing that matters is whether you like...

Size is no different to shape, material or any other watch property. It's a personal matter of taste. Buying watches is such a personal (even egoistic) pleasure for me. If I like it, can afford it and can get the Mrs to approve it, that's all that matters...

Size is a very subjective issue. I wear watches from 36mm to 45mm. The most important question is: Does the watch make me smile?

What Baron says is spot on. Your wrist can and should carry any watch (regardless of size) that makes you happy. If it is your dream watch, that is all that matters.

I also think that your tailored cuff makes it appear larger.
It accentuates the size of the watch. A looser cuff might help and draw less attention to the wrist size.
