You're right. The market as a whole has shifted their pricing significantly. So this isn't a unique phenomena. Much of the shift is probably due to maintaining parity with competitors on the same level/heirarchy. And the other large portion of the shift is simply due to the fact that consumers are in a buying frenzy and it's a good moment to capture some of that demand with an increase in prices.
